      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Jennifer Lopez admirably does her best to shoulder Atlas' seismic scope, but this sci-fi spectacle buckles under the weight of a script whose intelligence is merely artificial.

Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) A narrative -- and much imagery, too -- that's built on much better movies. Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) It’s like if Marvel made a whole movie with Tony Stark inside his armour just talking to Jarvis, but without any witty repartee. Rated: 1.5/5 Jun 7, 2024 Full Review Sam Adams Slate J. Lo may be fighting for the very existence of the human race, but there’s nothing at stake between you and the screen. Jun 7, 2024 Full Review Nestor Bentancor Nestor Cine Desde Hollywood One can only shrug while witnessing a colossally generic piece of content. [Full Review in Spanish] Jun 16, 2024 Full Review Wade Major FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) [Jennifer Lopez] is working to the ends of her ability, and for no reason because the movie is never going to work. Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu Jennifer Lopez, whose considerable star power cauterises the plot holes, and Simu Liu looking well-dressed and menacing, slug it out in this fairly enjoyable AI-versus-human battle Jun 9, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Alex M "Excuse me, my pronouns are 'She' and 'her', not 'it' " -An unalive robot made of metal. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Band from G Why are the critics so down on Lopez these days. My son and I watched it and thought it was a good movie. Lot's of action and yes a little cheesy at times but the relationship between Smith and Atlas brought a tear I have to admit and that's the mark of a good movie. I think people's bad reviews are just a sign of the times. No one is happy these days and it's showing. Thumbs up Jennie, keep on truckin girl and don't listen to the half empty vessels. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Martin L Lame. It looked quite good but it’s boring and dumb. Why would a super intelligent AI put all their eggs in one basket and inhabit only a single ‘human’ body?! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Sukhsanjam Singh S *spoilers* This movie contains an amazing view point.. The trust issues that get embedded in one's mind. The way atlas starts trusting SMITH and how their relationship progresses. It's amazing.. Has all the aspects. Even shed a tear or two towards the end Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Angel A The movie left me wanting to go walk my dog, I am sorry Jen , but acting was really bad and the whole plot of the movie was terrible.. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Audience Member Movie was okay until about **spoiler** 65% in when she links with the suit 100% and they still argue and talk to each other. They should be one being then. Bad writing kept this from being great. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Read all reviews
