Lewis Pullman appeared in the 2018 films "The Strangers: Prey at Night" and "Bad Times at El Royale." Seeing as his father was Bill Pullman, a versatile actor known for his work in popular films like "Spaceballs" (1987) and "Independence Day" (1994), you might say that Lewis Pullman was destined to be in show business. As it turns out, young Lewis always had his eye on making it in Hollywood. He got his start at the age of 20 by appearing in the short film "The Tutor" (2013). Pullman enjoyed the experience of being in front of the camera, and over the next three years he further developed his craft by appearing in three more shorts: "The Peter Cassidy Project" (2015), "Where You Are" (2016), and "The Realest Real" (2016). In 2017 Pullman made his feature film acting debut with an appearance alongside his father in the action-western "The Ballad of Lefty Brown" (2017). Pullman also appeared alongside his dad in the 2017 historical tennis film "Battle of the Sexes." With his screen acting career already gaining steam, Pullman had a breakout year in 2018 by appearing in "The Strangers: Prey at Night" and "Bad Times at the El Royale." "The Strangers: Prey at Night" was also a success at the box office, thus further cementing Pullman's reputation as a talented young actor on the rise. If 2018 was a good year for Lewis Pullman, 2019 proved to be even better. In addition to appearing in the thriller, "Them That Follow" (2019), Pullman also nabbed a recurring role on the Hulu mini-series "Catch-22" (Hulu, 2019). 2019 was also the year that Pullman began shooting a role in the widely-anticipated sequel "Top Gun: Maverick" (2020). That film, which premiered in 2020, starred Tom Cruise in the same role he originated in 1986's "Top Gun."
