87% Tomatometer 69 Reviews 76% Audience Score 1,000+ Ratings Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future. The hot goss in London remains juicy as ever in Bridgerton's third season, which benefits tremendously from Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton's endearing chemistry.

Lauren Sarner New York Post Overall, the second half of Season 3 is packed with juicy drama, and it remains addictively watchable. Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Nell Geraets The Age (Australia) The second half of the season is packed with everything but the kitchen sink... But all of that fails to distract us from the fact that it’s missing the thing Bridgerton does best: the chase. Rated: 3/5 Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Katie Rosseinsky London Evening Standard The two powerhouse performers make this a friendship worth rooting for. Elsewhere, though, the drama is underwritten, and too much narrative space is given to flimsy plot lines that are hard to engage with. Rated: 3/5 Jun 13, 2024 Full Review Christopher Stevens Daily Mail (UK) Bridgerton goes all the way. Rated: 4/5 Jun 17, 2024 Full Review Mikel Zorrilla Espinof Just as entertaining and addictive as the two previous ones (Full Review in Spanish). Audience Member I was soo looking forward to Pen and Colin's relationship, and all the "steamy" scenes we were promised.. however don't get your hopes up! A lot of it apparently got cut, sadly. But it was good! Now to wait for season 4.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Chris L As someone who’s read Romancing Mister Bridgerton a million times, this season brought this book to life. I was surprised how many lines and nods to RMB actually made it in this season. The costumes and the scenes were beautifully done as always. Each season of Bridgerton just keeps getting better, and I believe it will be tough to top Season 3. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Erica O I love Bridgerton, but this season was too boring! All the romantic elements are there, but not the emotion! The protagonist couple have no chemistry and Luke N (Colin) acts terribly badly! His character has no development and ends up left aside. Nicola (Pen) shines the most, thanks to the narrative of female strength (applause for Portia too). The stories of the secondary characters are mostly meaningless. All the magic of Bridgerton, with its exuberant balls and striking dances cease to exist! The couple does not convince in desire and Penelope seems to love Colin more than he loves her! The height of the season is really the final news: they will change one of the couples in the book! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Julietta D Best season of bridgerton so far Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Mel S Actors did an amazing job! But the writing was bad inconsistent, all over the place and most importantly lack of focus. The changing of the show runner was felt deeply. Im really sad… I loved the last season so much… Also some of the changes felt forced and just for the sake of it rather than helping the story… Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Val S I haven't read the books. I thought this season was just ok. *SPOILERS* On the positive side I really enjoyed the character development of Cressida but I'm sad she got sent away in the end. What took me out of the show was the modern elements. The heavy make-up and fake nails and modern speech really threw me in some moments. And then, you have this really silly paper flower display thing at the Mondrich ball that doesn't really fit because they made everything else look and sound more modern. That threw me as well. They tried to fit too many stories into 8 episodes and I didn't connect to the love stories as much as I did in the last 2 seasons. I don't know Francesca's story but I was first disappointed at how quick and kind of boring it was but it was cute that they were different and had a quiet love story, I liked that in a way. But then I was disappointed at the very end in getting a glimpse that that wasn't her love story at all. She's already married and seemed so happy, she was lighting up and talking more around her beau. Sad that he apparently isn't it for her. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/18/24 Full Review Read all reviews
