Jerry Seinfeld’s debut as a feature film writer and director is a mess. His breakfast pastry-themed 1960s farce plays like he shot every idea he had and made it into a 93-minute movie, regardless of whether they worked together or were particularly funny.

Unfrosted is a huge disappointment. The trailer made it seem like it could be a fun comedy with an amazing cast. Instead, it ends up being an almost boring, completely unfunny movie that wastes one of the best casts to appear in a comedy in some time.

A light hearted and gentle movie. Lots of genuine laugh out loud moments and subtle references to enjoy. Beautifully shot with a nicely crafted storyline. A bright, bold, silly and innocent good time movie. Start is a little slow but gets going after the first 10 mins.

Strange. I thought that Jerry Seinfeld was capable to see if something contains humor or not. I was wrong. I admit I did not watch the whole movie, but I saw enough to realize I would get anything back for the time I spent on it; no laughter, no knowledge, no wisdom and, above all, no entertainment. Maybe Jerry wanted to make a caricature of product development and the food industry but halfway he got stuck in admiring the style of the fifties and made a fan movie showcasing that instead. I guess one can say he did a pretty good job with the box, but he did not fill it up. It's mostly air. It does not even have content enough to be boring.
