The first 2 episodes were typical SW Disney nowadays. Lee Jung-Jae, Carrie-Anne Moss and Dafne Keen were definitely the highlights of the show. I really like the martial arts implemented too, good so far. Then episode 3 dropped.... Didn't you people read your own High Republic books? Who approved the Force to be rewritten on a whim to be something it's not... this idiot idea of a thread. You people are working within the confines of a well established universe, several decades old. You can't just rewrite lore to suit your ways, especially with something as important as the Force. I look forward to more Force martial arts and an epic duel with the Sith Lord, but this witch thread crap is really stupid.

I dont get where all the hatred comes from. The characters are complex, the acting and emotion are off the charts for Star Wars and the exploration of Hogh Republic Jedi looks great and flawed but always interesting. I did not find the writing cringe and think this is probably my second favorite star wars show after Andor. Fuck you guys review bombing it.
