Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News “Loot’s” humor comes with a dusting of a message about work, play, love and what ultimately makes us rich — the friends who accept us unconditionally. Rated: 3/4 Apr 4, 2024 Full Review Keith Watson Daily Telegraph (UK) If Loot had the courage to invest a little bit more in Molly’s money-losing mission and a little bit less on easy sitcom stereotypes then its stock would rapidly rise. For now though it’s a reliable fund of cheap laughs. Rated: 3/5 Apr 3, 2024 Full Review Annie Berke AV Club While it takes several episodes for the second season to gain momentum, Rudolph and her unyielding wacky charm keep the series chugging away. Rated: B+ Apr 1, 2024 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Our mild recommendation for Loot continues from its first season to its second. The relationships between the characters are growing, which is great, but the show is just not as funny as it should be, and that’s always disappointing. Apr 3, 2024 Full Review Ben Gibbons Screen Rant Loot season 2 on Apple TV+ appears to lose it's way as the characters lives diverge and the messaging takes a back seat to romantic drama. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 3, 2024 Full Review Catherine Springer AwardsWatch While Loot has become more of an ensemble, there is still no confusing who the center of the storm is though. Rudolph’s colorful and textured performance is given more room to breathe in the second season. Rated: B+ Mar 25, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member more trash by the streaming companies and people lining up to throw their money away. We used to get junk sitcoms like this for free remember? HAHAHA Streaming companies are so desperate for content that they will buy anything just in case it's good so that the competition doesn't get it. The writer strikes have ruined TV. First strike we got (fake) Reality TV for free and now we get poorly written nonsense that we pay for HAHAHA someone buy me a drink Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/13/24 Full Review Audience Member Loot finds solid ground in its sophomore season giving Rudolph more to chew on and its supporting cast room to flex as well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/10/24 Full Review Chase B Maya Rudolph not bad because she has talent, but hope to have seen the last of these other actors. In their defense, the writing is just awful. Imagine trying to write a joke every 5 seconds and hitting absolutely none Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/07/24 Full Review DL W It’s kind of dumb. Maya Rudolph’s character can be childish and annoying. Why do they act like she’s attractive as part of the plot? Is it because she has money? It’s not like that matters except that they’re painting an unrealistic picture. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/04/24 Full Review B. C There’s just not enough here. I love Maya Rudolph but I’m sorry, she’s still just a sketch comedy player, and not one of the greatest at that, let alone fit to lead a show. She’d be better suited for a sitcom and these shows try to be a hybrid-sitcom but come off more like a movie. This show in particular doesn’t have meat and intellectual substance gonna more than a skit or a feature length b-film. None of these characters are endearing or serious enough to be invested in, especially not longer than 30 to 90 minutes. A second season?! I’m not feeling it. It’s no “Shrinking” (Apple did well with that one). Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review Jazzy J The first episode of season 2 was one of the worst TV episodes I've ever seen. Lazy writing, awful acting. The behind-the-scenes crew is unsure of what to do next with these characters just as Molly is with how she's going to spend the $87B given to her!
