Peter Travers ABC News Dakota Johnson is aces as a late bloomer coming out in her 30s. The touchingly personal script by Lauren Pomerantz is funny as hell, but it’s her delicacy of feeling that sneaks up and floors you. Something special is going on here. Treasure it. Jun 7, 2024 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) For not the first time in her career, Dakota Johnson makes amends for a particularly dismal blockbuster (50 Shades of Grey and now Madame Web) with an emotionally complex performance in an independent feature. Jun 6, 2024 Full Review Alissa Wilkinson New York Times The right chemistry is there, too — if you told me Johnson and Mizuno had been friends since the third grade and hike on weekends, I’d believe you. Jun 6, 2024 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue The sharp cast generates some big laughs, while the screenplay modulates its silliness with an assured perspective and emotional depth. Jun 14, 2024 Full Review Lissete Lanuza Sáenz Fangirlish Directors Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne seem more interested in the exploration, in the moments in between the big decisions than they do in the things we have to figure out. That’s what makes Am I OK? such a powerful movie. Jun 11, 2024 Full Review Gissane Sophia Marvelous Geeks Media Dakota Johnson is made for roles with nuance and depth, bringing her incredible range as an actress to the forefront in a glowing performance. Dante U Jokes were bad i had to turn it off aft 20min Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Efrem M What a strange movie. The main characters’ chemistry was non existent and made no sense how they were “childhood friends.” One of them was not good for the part. I hate to say say it but being a nepo baby gets you extremely far in Hollywood with no talent whatsoever. I had to stop 20 mins in. Couldn’t take it any more. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Audience Member Had to turn it off. Jokes didn’t land. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Dawn M Awful. Stilted acting. Barely watchable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review free i Am I ok neither a comedy nor a drama Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Mark B A charming story of friendship, life changes. A late coming of age story. Strong chemistry with the leads. And I think the 3 minute scene that Tig is in added 1/2 star for me. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
