Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe “Hacks” remains thoroughly enjoyable. The writing is smart, as it follows a once-popular comic balancing aging with an unwaning desire to entertain, and the acting is both humorous and poignant. May 21, 2024 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) A story with real pathos and raw emotions about how people connect, and don’t connect May 15, 2024 Full Review Judy Berman TIME Magazine Hacks hits its stride in a third season that’s even better than the first two. May 10, 2024 Full Review Susan Granger SSG Syndicate Jean Smart is beyond brilliant, embodying a composite of trailblazing comediennes - like Joan Rovers, Phyllis Diller, Kathy Griffin, even Betty White - while Hannah Einbinder, daughter of Laraine Newman. has a terrific deadpan and subtly timed delivery. Rated: 9/10 Jun 6, 2024 Full Review Paloma Rando El Pais (Spain) Hacks continues to speak our language. [Full review in Spanish] May 23, 2024 Full Review Bruce R. Miller Sioux City Journal When Deborah gets a guest spot, “Hacks” hits its apex and puts everyone on alert. It’s the season’s best episode and yet another reason Jean Smart is the best female in a comedy series, hands-down. Rated: 3.5/4 May 18, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Aye E I don't know how this show just keeps getting better. My hopes are sky high for season 4. These characters are so solid, the world feels so real. Even with some of the extremes these characters can take us there's not an inauthentic second in any episode this season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/24 Full Review Trudy W Even though I love Jean Smart. didn’t think I would like this show. I admit it took me four episodes to connect. But once you do, it’s pretty amazing. I liked Season 2 better than Season 1, but Season 3 even better. It’s all about the characters deepening, and by 3 you have that depth with most of the fantastic ensemble cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/24 Full Review Christopher V Great characters. Love watching them navigate their crazy lives. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/08/24 Full Review Meredith B This was a role made for Jean Smart to play. Her and the entire cast's comedic timing is spot on. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/05/24 Full Review jeff h Still laughing, series 3 has really found its groove 5/5 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/03/24 Full Review Daniele R I am a big fan of the show and enjoyed all seasons so far. Third season was a different level, though. Writing and acting was top notch. Hannah Einbinder absolutely killed it in the finale. I’m really excited to see where they are taking the show for Season 4. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/03/24 Full Review Read all reviews
