Mark Kermode Kermode and Mayo's Take (YouTube) It's terrific. Jan 30, 2024 Full Review Stephen Romei The Australian All Of Us Strangers is a mysterious, absorbing, slightly surreal film about love, in all its complexity, beauty and sadness. Rated: 4/5 Jan 26, 2024 Full Review Danny Leigh Financial Times Many other writer-directors would have presented it as a tale of the supernatural. Here, though, it is earthly in the best sense: a love story of multiple kinds, marbled with loss. Rated: 4/5 Jan 26, 2024 Full Review Cliff Froehlich Metro Times (Detroit, MI) All of Us Strangers is altogether punitive in its despairing finish. Jun 11, 2024 Full Review James Mottram South China Morning Post A poignant film about parents and partners, Andrew Haigh’s All of us Strangers is the most accomplished work of his career so far. Rated: 4.5/5 May 10, 2024 Full Review Ernesto Diezmartinez Letras Libres A man in his late 50s meets his parents, who are twenty years younger. Taking up the idea of a novel by the Japanese Taichi Yamada, the British filmmaker Andrew Haigh makes a very personal work. BK A beautiful fearless flawless film . A simple meditation on love. And the fear and complexity we all bring to love that potentially smothers it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/08/24 Full Review See A Lot We left the movie asking what it was all about. Afterwards I read a writeup that made it more understandable. If you decide to see this, read about it first. Even so, the movie was not that good. Also, the dialogue was sometimes hard to understand. I am very surprised at the rave reviews. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review michael c It's a crime that the entire cast and the movie itself was ignored by the Oscars. Best movie of 2023 and to think that Poor Things got a ton of nominations. That's what we call BS. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review jonjohar Powerful beautifully filmed, loved it Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/24 Full Review Tomas L There were twists, turns, movements, reflections, loves, losses, connections, and isolation going on in and out of frames. Loved the cast and story. I will see it again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Jeff Movie was sooo slow - we left after 20 minutes.
